Project Time Spans Were Shortened for the World Heart Corporation

WorldHeart Corporation, a medical devices company based in Ontario, was completing the development, testing, and regulatory approval phases of a new product known as HeartSaver VAD. Their challenge was the usual problem of establishing a new project while performing R&D and obtaining regulatory approval.

Robbins-Gioia compiled and maintained consolidated issue logs, performed previous-procedure reviews, status collection, risk/issue management, and scope-change management, and initiated a reporting system.

RESULT: Robbins-Gioia helped World Heart Corporation shorten the time spans of the various projects, increase management visibility, and maintain high quality.
