The Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence (AFCEE) is committed to effective environmental compliance and land stewardship. AFCEE required earned value management expertise on remedial action projects for the agency's Program Support Division.

Robbins-Gioia used the weighted-milestones technique, the interim milestone technique, and the percent-complete method to accurately measure remedial action project work.

RESULT: AFCEE was able to recognize opportunity cost using the money saved for other opportunities.
